I’ll take living longer, but might change my mind if you describe this “inspired life” idea a little more.

    I’ll take the shorter straw.

By inspiration I mean the common, un-commonality that we find in life. In the miracles of science, the beauty of art, the mysticism of spirituality.

    in general inspiration. in·spi·ra·tion (nsp-rshn)
    a. Stimulation of the mind or emotions to a high level of feeling or activity.
    b. The condition of being so stimulated.
    2. An agency, such as a person or work of art, that moves the intellect or emotions or prompts action or invention.

I was particularly thinking of the artist. The artist who may live a short life, but one that is full, one that is aware and insightful. Obviously the best choice is a long, inspired life, but if you had the choice between the two, a long ordinary life, or a short and inspired one, which would you choose?
